Revealed: our new-look visual identity

June 19, 2019

Your LPCs and Community Pharmacy Sussex and Surrey shared their new visual identity, today (Wednesday 19 July)

Eventually the new identity will be featured on our banners, briefing notes, email signatures, stationery and other templates, with a new-look website expected to be complete by the beginning of August.

The new design swaps the former complicated looking structure with strong green-blue colours and a more minimalist look; the colour ‘blue’ is from the official NHS colour palette and the ‘green’ is synonymous with community pharmacy.

Sandra Lamont, communications and engagement lead says it’s part of a plan to present us as a confident and accessible organisation and will help us represent you (contractors) strongly and boldly in our ever changing and crowded environment.

She said there was an issue with the previous identity, that it was a bit complicated and didn’t stand-out well and didn’t explain us to partners and stakeholders, or present us a strong, confident partner.

Community pharmacy provides valuable NHS and public health services. Our new colour palette, clear image and new layout nods to this, while also highlighting our community focus.

“With accessibility being an important value, we also set out to create an image that would work better across devices, in different environments, and with different stakeholders”.

In May LPC members looked at several ideas developed from a clear design brief and gave generous and clear feedback on them.
