Are you confident to deal with referrals from NHS 111 to community pharmacy in the out of hours period?

 How often do you send patients to the GP or out of hours services because you are not confident to manage common ailments?

Community pharmacists working in pharmacies in the Guildford and Waverley CCG area are invited to apply for a 2-day training course on assessment and management of urgent cases.

The training, run by CPPE, is intended for all community pharmacists but those working in the out of hours periods are particularly encouraged to apply. Please circulate this information to all the pharmacists who work in your community pharmacy. For more information see flyer here.

Course details

  • Saturday AND Sunday 6th and 7th October 2018 – 2 full days training
  • 9.30am – 5.30pm (registration from 9.00am)
  • Lunch and other refreshments will be provided
  • Accommodation overnight is NOT included

An honorarium of £200 can be claimed by pharmacists, who work in community pharmacies in the Guildford and Waverley area, on completion of all the course requirements.  Please see attached flyer for full course information and requirements.
