HLP across WSCC

Help for:  HLP Level 1 Quality Payment Scheme Quality Criteria – Resources to help pharmacies in West Sussex LPC area to plan and record evidence for this criterion.  This is achievable and is worth £1,280.

  • A reminder you must have at least one Full Time Equivalent Health Champion in your pharmacy trained to RSPH Level 2.

Please find below the documents and presentations which will help you evidence what you need to meet the HLP 1 criteria Quality Payments so you can easily put together your portfolio.

Some pharmacies/multiples will arrange for this to be done centrally, please to liaise with company managers/head office to find out the company procedure for your pharmacy.

West Sussex Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

Since 1 April 2013, every Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) in England has had a statutory responsibility to publish and keep up to date a statement of the need for pharmaceutical services of the population within its area. This is referred to as a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).

The West Sussex draft for the new PNA due to be published in 2018  can be found here. Feedback provided will be considered for the final PNA, prior to its publication in February 2018.   The draft PNA consultation will be available from Friday 1 September 2017 until Sunday 5 November 2017.

Also, please remember that it takes up to 2 weeks to get email confirmation of your HLP level 1 accreditation after completing the RSPH declaration online… so it MUST be done at least 2 weeks before the 24th November Quality Payment Scheme Review Point for your completion of the Quality Point Declaration to NHSBSA.
