Pharmacy opening times for August Bank Holiday Monday

August 13, 2020

Community Pharmacy Surrey & Sussex on behalf of the three local pharmaceutical committees is reminding people that a reduced number of pharmacies will be open over the forthcoming August Bank Holiday weekend and can help with any minor incident or illness.

This year the August bank holiday falls on Monday 31st August.

James Wood, CEO, at Community Pharmacy Surrey and Sussex, said:

“It’s important people know where to go should they need healthcare help.

“In recent years the range of treatment and advice available at pharmacies has increased hugely. We can help people cope with many common health concerns, provide advice and guidance on what over-the-counter medicines to use, as well as supplying prescribed medicines.

“It’s also important that patients plan ahead and check their medicine supplies to ensure they have enough to last throughout the weekend and beyond.”
