Smoking Cessation Update & Development Meeting dates for Pharmacies in Brighton & Hove who are providing the BHCC Stop Smoking Commissioned Service.

Smoking Cessation Update and Development meeting: Brighton and Hove NHS Smoking Cessation Service Lead provides 3 Update and Development Meetings per year.  Advisors must attend 2 out of the 3 meetings as part of the LCS agreement and there is a payment to reimburse staff time.  These meetings are an important development opportunity for all trained Smoking Cessation Advisors to receive local service updates, latest research and development in smoking cessation pharmacotherapy, up-to-date evidence and policy on the Electronic cigarettes, NICE recommendations and 4-week Monitoring Guidance, and Updates from The National Centre for Smoking Cessation Treatments. It enables Advisors to develop and maintain best practice and offers networking opportunities.
