East Sussex LPC AGM 2020

Your 2020 Annual General Meeting will take place online on the 22nd of September 2020 at 7.30pm.

All contractors and their representatives, along with all pharmacy team members are invited. This year the AGM will form a short part of your LPCs annual meeting of contractors (about 20 minutes) because we are required by our constitution to do certain things once every year.

This is your opportunity to consider our activities throughout 2019-20 to let us have your questions, views, feedback and for contractors to vote on our annual accounts. After essential LPC ‘housekeeping’ we will move onto our main event: discussion and consideration of the three major items that will dominate the next few months in community pharmacy:

  • Local opportunities, including updates about locally commissioned services
  • Primary care networks (PCN’s), how these are developing locally, including how we plan to support you with local elements of Part 2 of the 2020/21 Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS)
  • For registered pharmacy professionals, a short session on Covid19 reflections to help you with your 2020-21 GPhC revalidation

Register your attendance here  As the Government’s public health and social distancing measures are still likely to be in force on the dates of LPC annual meeting for all contractors, so we won’t be able to meet face-to-face and we strongly encourage you to vote online or by post , or submit questions or comments beforehand (see below).

Your views are important to us. So, if you have a question, please submit it to lpc@communitypharmcyss.co.uk. We’ll answer your question as soon as we can and will aim to respond ahead of the AGM to any questions received before 11am on the day prior of the meeting. This year we will post answers to all questions received on our website, so it’s worth checking back here to see if your question is already answered there.

Downloads & pre-AGM information

We are required to seek the approval of the accounts at the AGM by ballot of pharmacy contractors or their authorised representatives. You are entitled to cast one vote for each of the pharmacy contractor premises you have in the East Sussex LPC area. If you are a contractor and unable to attend the meeting, you can cast your vote and provide feedback by returning the voting form in the link below by post, email or online. Votes cast by these methods must be received 5.00pm on 20th September 2020. For CCA member companies, please note this will be coordinated centrally between the LPC and head offices.

Voting slips were emailed directly to contractors on/after 14th August 2020.
