IMPORTANT CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENT:  Submitting MUR/NMS quarterly information TO NHSBSA – please don’t miss the deadline.

This is a contractual requirement and if you do not do this,  you will be in breach of your pharmacy contract.

The NHSBSA now administers the collection of completed MUR and NMS electronic reporting templates from pharmacy contractors on behalf of NHS England. Pharmacy contractors therefore need to submit their completed quarterly MUR and NMS electronic reporting templates to the NHSBSA  rather than emailing the report to their local NHS England team.

Pharmacy contractors must submit the completed MUR and NMS electronic reporting templates to the NHSBSA within 10 working days from the last day of the quarter the data refers to (last day of June, September, December and March) you may wish to liaise with your head office if you are part of a multiple pharmacy as doing this is a contractual requirement.

To use the Online Tool –

  • Enter OCS code (Uppercase)
  • Confirm Pharmacy address
  • Read instruction page
  • Enter name, email & role
  • Enter figures
  • A confirmation email will be sent with a breakdown of your submission
